Dr. Dusty DuBois

I joined the Kaufman Chiropractic Clinic in November 1998 to help women and their family's receive quality Chiropractic care from one of the few female Chiropractors in the area.

Women are subject to many uniquely female health problems. Among these are PMS, painful periods, menopause, tension headaches and migraines.

Chiropractic is not a "cure" for gynecological troubles and yet has been a blessing to countless women with such problems. Chiropractors do not treat disease but correct spinal nerve stress (which is also known as vertebral subluxations)— a dangerous condition that interferes with the nervous system and therefore can lead to disease.

As a woman, I have experienced many of these "uniquely" female health concerns and am acutely sensitive to women's special needs. I have personally experienced the "miracles" of chiropractic and know that many woman can benefit from my chiropractic services. You don't have to "LIVE WITH IT" and is not "IN YOUR HEAD", but usually "IN YOUR SPINE".

My undergraduate studies were started at Bellevue Community College and completed at Palmer College of Chiropractic (The Fountainhead of Chiropractic) where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and my Doctorate in Chiropractic. I successfully completed National Chiropractic Boards, Parts I, II, III, IV, Physiotherapy and Washington State Chiropractic Boards. I have over 200 hours of post-graduate chiropractic neurology education. I am also Motion Palpation certified which includes over 250 hours of continuing education.

Prior to attending chiropractic school, I was a real estate agent for John L. Scott for 4 years in the Laurelhurst area of Seattle. I have been an aerobics instructor since 1985 (nationally certified thru A.C.E.) and a personal trainer in local Nautilus clubs in the Northend. I have always been physically active and understand the importance of exercise and promote it daily in my practice.

I'm a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association, was an active member in SACA (Student American Chiropractic Association) which required legislative lobbying on behalf of chiropractors and chiropractic patients. I am an active member in the Greater Bothell Chamber of commerce and attend Eastside Foursquare Church.

I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have regarding how chiropractic can help you live better. You don't have to "LIVE WITH IT.

I am married and have 2 dogs and 2 cats.  My husband, Kevin, owns his own business called Du-More Home Solutions.  He specializes in full service HVAC.

The dogs are often assisting me on Saturday mornings at the clinic.  They have been highly trained in the fine art of sniffing out subluxations and helping my patients to relax before their adjustments.  We are beginning classes with Sedona (the golden retriever) for the Reading with Rover program.  The little one, Sydney, well, she would only be able to have short stories read to her, so she's not ready for that program yet.

Picture_104.jpgWe love to travel A LOT, I guess you can do that when you don't have human children.  We are members of Tradewinds Cruise Club (a catamaran sailing club). Some of our favorite places include, Greece, Belize, The Grenedines and Barbados.  Can you tell we love the sun and sand?

I hope this helps you get to know me a little better.  I'm looking forward to getting to know you too.
